Lyra Technology Group is seeking a Director of People & Culture for one of our Operating Companies. This individual will build trusted relationships with all team members, lead all HR functions, and serve on the Management Team.

Your work as a Director of People & Culture will include several components:

• Ensure all our people practices, policies and programs are best in class

• Design and deliver full cycle recruitment strategy for continued growth within a hyper-competitive candidate landscape

• Leverage HRIS as well as train hiring managers on current HRIS’ recruitment and performance management modules

• Coach employees and managers through complex situations

• Drive compensation and performance review cycles

• Advise on market conditions

• Manage eNPS activities and maximize employee engagement

• Take lead on annual benefits renewal conversations with carriers

• Foster and grow an award-winning culture by challenging the status quo and continually looking for ways to improve the workplace

Our ideal Director of People & Culture has the following qualifications:

• 5+ years in an established, best practices HR department, at least 2+ years as a sole practitioner leading the Human Resources function within a business

• Thorough understanding of ESA in BC, Ontario and Alberta, bonus points for Quebec

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, HR designation such as CPHR or other

• Comfort with HRIS such as BambooHR or similar HRIS platforms

• Experience with Payroll systems such as Rise Payroll

• Experience with Performance Management systems such as Lattice

• Knowledge of full cycle recruitment from sourcing candidates to Day One on-boarding; creative approach to establishing talent pipelines

• Experience managing a distributed/remote team

• Background in a high tech or other talent-intensive industry preferred

• Experience with acquisitions from the HR perspective, a definite bonus
